Charles "Teenie" Harris (1908-1998) spent 40 years as a photographer for one of the nation's great Black newspapers, the Pittsburgh Courier. He also operated his own photo studio. These 41 photographs are a good cross-section of his studio work. Subjects include: two young women demonstration planting techniques for a World War II victory garden; a Boy Scout troop; group portraits of fraternal orders and corporate events, and a caption image of the groundbreaking of the Faith Lutheran Church.
